About Murabata
Our Mission
Murabata is a spiritual habit formation app based on Imam Al-Ghazali's tazkiyah (self-purification) framework. It helps Muslims break harmful habits through a structured, spiritually grounded system of accountability.
The app guides users through six stages of spiritual development, from setting intentions to deep reflection, providing a comprehensive approach to breaking harmful habits while strengthening one's relationship with Allah.

Stage 3: Tracking (Muraqabah) - Record your struggles and observations, building awareness of patterns and triggers.
Stage 4: Correction (Islah) - Create actionable checklists for accountability and track your progress in real-time.
Stage 5: Learning (Ta'allum) - Reflect on what you've learned from your journey, extracting wisdom from your experiences.
Stage 6: Reflection (Tafakkur) - Engage in deep reflection on your spiritual growth and the lessons learned throughout your journey.
